Think of your child’s session as a play date (no smiling at the camera and saying “cheese” here). Photographing children requires patience and very little structure. I prefer to photograph children while they are being exactly what they are – children. I have a laid back, easy-going shooting style that encourages playful interaction and ensures you get the authentic images you desire.
Family sessions focus on relationships – having fun is the name of the game with these sessions, whether your family is young or not so young, large or small. These sessions often have a more formal component (a little bit of “cheese” here) but then we move into a more relaxed format and simply have a good time.
Photo sessions are done at a location of your choice – your backyard, beach house, your child’s favorite spot. The possibilities are endless. If you are unsure of a location I will be happy to make suggestions.
