I love shooting weddings – I love the emotions, the stories, the ceremony, the celebration. Over the years I have shot countless weddings – each story unique, each ceremony touching, and each celebration memorable. However, I think it is safe to say that I (nor anyone else present at Sarah and Adam’s wedding) will ever forget it. We will get to that part in a moment.
Adam and Sarah picked the beautiful Villa Montana Beach Resort for their wedding – a choice I must applaud, as my husband and I got married there a few years ago ourselves.
Here are some of the details of the day…
The reception was held at the Eclipse restaurant – just steps from the beach…
Love the native orchids…
Seeing each other for the first time…
The ocean side ceremony brings us to the part that people are sure to remember. It was a bit misty… with hopes that mother nature would hold out the ceremony began…
The mist turned to a light rain… which turned to a slightly heavier rain… then it simply poured buckets…
With smiles on their faces Adam and Sarah decide to move the ceremony under cover…
Taking their vows, dripping wet and full of love for each other. This is one of my favorite photos from the entire wedding day – life may not be perfect, but with the one you love beside you, it sure is beautiful…
Love the door in front of the “O” where the after party was held…
