Dan and I welcomed our first child into our family this past week – Cale Murray Carmody. It has been hard to find the time and energy to pick up my camera over the past few days (I hate to say it, but my point and shoot has been working overtime while my “big guns” have been collecting dust), but today we forced ourselves to take a few minutes and do a mini photo session. It is amazing how fast he is growing up – already he looks so much different than he did in the hospital. Each day is magic as he slowly reveals his personality to us- I don’t want to forget a moment of it. My new resolution – to break out my professional camera at least once a week for the next few weeks… so stay tuned. I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of this beautiful little boy!
