I find so much joy watching little ones grow – perhaps that is why the Baby’s First Year sessions are always some of my favorite sessions. Each time I show up to shoot I feel like I am meeting a completely different little person. As newborns they are peaceful and sleepy, by 3 months they are starting to show bits of their personality. By 8 months they go from serious to silly in a matter of seconds – I absolutely love it.
When I arrived last weekend to shoot Cade’s 8 month session he was peacefully napping away. Knowing that wouldn’t last for long, I took advantage of the opportunity to capture Cade quiet and peaceful – as soon as he woke I got to capture his personality, which at this point, is larger than he is.
Over the years parents Lisa and Steve seem more like friends than clients – the hour and a half session went by in a flash. Here are some of my favorites from that morning… love the hair on this guy!!
